Free on the outside church meets every Sunday evening with a dinner at 5pm and a casual church service starting at 6pm. Both the meal and church service are free and open to everyone over the age of 18.
Our church service includes worship, prayer, and messages tailored to the needs of people in recovery. Free on the Outside is a community where all can find acceptance and grace; we believe that YOU MATTER!
In addition to weekly church meetings, our organization provides:
- Sober-living housing
- Summer camp-outs
- Special holiday and seasonal events
- Monthly game night on the 3rd Friday of every month, 7pm – 11pm
- Celebrate Recovery on Thursday nights
- Men’s and Women’s retreats.
We are a “bridge church” through Prison Fellowship that offers mentoring and support services for men and women re-entering the community. We also have volunteers that work for Home For Good Oregon. If you are in need of housing or support, Free on the Outside is here for you. Because YOU MATTER!
Mission Statement:
We are a safe place to experience grace and acceptance.
Vision:
To establish an adult-only church and Celebrate Recovery with a special focus on those re-entering the community from incarceration; to offer transitional Housing, mentoring, employment referral, and entrepreneur opportunities.
